The School of Art History and World Art Studies is a School in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of East Anglia.

==History==

The School originally provided courses in both art history and music, and was created in 1964 as the School of Fine Arts and Music. It was later renamed the School of Art History and Music and then the School of World Art Studies & Museology before taking on its present name in 2013.
It focuses on the study of the history of art and architecture from a global perspective. After 1978, following the gift to the University of the Sir Robert and Lady Lisa Sainsbury Collection of art from around the world, the School was relocated to purpose-built facilities in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, designed by Sir Norman Foster. The School changed its name in 1992 to reflect a more cross-discipline approach to the study of art. Courses on offer at the School represent a broad spectrum of art history - including medieval and Renaissance European art, contemporary art, ancient art, and African art. The School brings together staff, students, and researchers interested in the history of art as well as archaeology, anthropology and museum studies.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=World Art Studies and Museumology )
